This disclosure sets out how and why ContinUnity Ltd (trading as Girl FrAIday™) uses artificial intelligence ("AI") in our business and in delivering the Girl FrAIday™ service. It supplements our Privacy Notice, and it is designed to be open with you about the technology behind the service.

Where and how we use AI

We use AI in two ways:

To deliver the Girl FrAIday™ service. Your Girl FrAIday™ uses AI to help you think, plan, draft, organise and carry out tasks that you approve, and to help build and manage systems around your business. She asks before any action that is live, public, financial or sensitive.
In our own business operations. We use AI to improve efficiency and accuracy in routine administration, scheduling and communication.

Why we use AI

AI helps us to deliver faster and more efficient support, ensure greater accuracy in repetitive or complex tasks, and better meet your needs by working around your business.

AI and your personal data

When we use AI to process your personal data, we do so in compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. The personal data processed may include your contact details, your professional and business information, and the information you provide during onboarding and your use of the service.

Our lawful basis for this processing is our legitimate interests in enhancing our service and business efficiency, and the performance of our contract with you. We do not collect special category (sensitive) data through the service; if we ever needed to, we would obtain your explicit consent and handle it in a compliant way.

How we protect your data

Data processed through our AI tools is protected by appropriate security measures.
The external AI providers we work with act as our data processors under agreements or their terms designed to ensure compliance with UK data protection law.
Where the configuration is within our control, we use settings intended to prevent your data being used to train third-party models.
We do not make solely automated decisions that have a legal or similarly significant effect on you without your explicit consent or appropriate safeguards in place.

The limitations of AI

AI is not infallible. While we take steps to use it responsibly, we make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness or suitability of AI outputs. You should satisfy yourself that you are happy with any AI-generated output before you rely on it. You remain responsible for reviewing and approving outputs before they are sent, published or acted on, as set out in our Founder Terms of Business.

Your rights and choices

You have the right to ask us how AI is used in your specific case, to object (where applicable) to any decision made solely by AI that has a legal or similarly significant effect on you, and to ask us to review how your personal data is processed by AI tools. Third-party AI providers

Some of the AI and technical tools we use are provided by third parties, who act as our data processors. These are Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI (ChatGPT), Hermes and GitHub, hosted on Hostinger. Please refer to their own privacy policies for details of their data standards.
